IntroductionThe Basketball Association of Singapore invites qualified contractors to submit your proposal for the renovation/retrofitting works for the Singapore Basketball Centre, addressed at 601 Aljunied Crescent #01-04, Singapore 389862. 2. Project OverviewThe BAS is seeking proposals for the renovation of the Singapore Basketball Centre to improve the facilities for the sport of Basketball. The premises include two indoor basketball courts, two toilets, one office space, a gym and a conference room. The facilities are expected to close for renovation on 3 Nov 2024, and the target is to return to operation before Jan 2025. 3. Scope of WorkThe scope of work includes but is not limited to items listed in Annex A of the attachment. 4. Proposal RequirementsThe vendor is expected to complete the tasks as listed in Annex A and provide the information of the company, but not limited to the details, as required in the following: - Company profile and relevant experience- Project approach and methodology- Timeline for deliverables- Detailed budget and breakdown of pricing structure- References from past clients 5. Evaluation CriteriaThe proposals will be evaluated by the BAS building committee. The committee will consider awarding the job based on the experience, cost, and approach. The committee may also call the vendor in for a presentation to better understand the ideas. 6. Submission Guidelines- Submission format (PDF, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)- Deadline for submission is 16 Oct 2024 (subject to extension) 7. TimelineTimeline for the RFP process, such as:- RFP release date – 8 Oct 2024- Proposal submission deadline – 15 Oct 2024- Expected decision date – 22 Oct 2024- Expected start work – early November 2024 8. BackgroundGetActive! Singapore (GASG) is a national
movement to celebrate National Day through sport. GASG will ensure that
everyone, regardless of age and abilities, have opportunities to enjoy sport in
celebration of National Day.One of the key pillars under GASG
is Pesta Sukan, the largest multi-sports competition in Singapore. Pesta Sukan
aims to provide opportunity for sportsmen and women to get together in
camaraderie to raise the standard of sports through friendly competition while
celebrating our Nation’s birthday. 2.
Period2.1
Pesta Sukan 2024 Basketball event will be held from 6 Jul to 4 Aug 2024 unless otherwise approved by the Organising Committee. 2.2
