NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) 2024 Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting 2024 of the members of the Basketball Association of Singapore (BAS) will be held on 28 September 2024, Saturday at 1.30 pm at the BAS Conference Room, 601 Aljunied Avenue 1, Singapore Basketball Centre, Singapore 389862. (Buffet Lunch will commence at 12 pm) AGENDA1. President’s Address2. To confirm and adopt the minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 14 September 20233. To approve and confirm the Annual Report for the Fiscal year ended 31 March 20244. To approve and confirm the Annual Statement of Accounts for Fiscal year ended 31 March 2024 5. To appoint an Auditor for the ensuing year – 01 April 2024 to 31 March 20256. To approve or remove Full Members7. To transact Any Other Business brought forward following the BAS Constitution Article 14.4 - "Full Members who wish to table a resolution for the General Meeting’s approval must notify the Secretary-General in writing at least fourteen (14) days before the date of the AGM." ATTENDANCE FOR THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETINGEach Full Member is entitled to have one (1) authorized delegate to attend a General Meeting and to speak and vote on its behalf at such meetings. Each Associate Member is entitled to have one (1) authorized representative to attend a General Meeting. Please nominate your authorized delegate/representative through the Google Form: https://forms.gle/qo4SypAWYWDhopdEAThe name of the authorized delegate of Full Members and the authorized representatives of Associate Members who will be attending the General Meeting shall be notified to the Secretary-General at least three (3) days before the Annual General Meeting, or by 25 September 2024.

BackgroundGetActive! Singapore (GASG) is a national
movement to celebrate National Day through sport. GASG will ensure that
everyone, regardless of age and abilities, have opportunities to enjoy sport in
celebration of National Day.One of the key pillars under GASG
is Pesta Sukan, the largest multi-sports competition in Singapore. Pesta Sukan
aims to provide opportunity for sportsmen and women to get together in
camaraderie to raise the standard of sports through friendly competition while
celebrating our Nation’s birthday. 2.

Pesta Sukan 2024 Basketball event will be held from 6 Jul to 4 Aug 2024 unless otherwise approved by the Organising Committee. 2.2

BAS Board Notice
Dear members, In view of the recent concerns raised with regard to the
Rules & Regulations of the NBL Div One tournament, BAS Board unanimously
agreed and decided, in the best interest of all stakeholders, to postpone the
closing date for registration of NBL's Division 1 tournament till further
notice. This is to allow the Board some time to review and improve the R&R
and arrange a meeting with all Team Managers to meet, listen and address any
further concerns.BAS Board will like to invite all 12 NBL Team Managers for
the Team Manager's interactive meeting on Thursday, 2 May 2024, 7pm, at SBC.
A simple buffet dinner will be arranged at 6.30 pm preceding the meeting and we
hope that all Team Managers can attend and interact over dinner prior to meeting.Please contact the CEO at Leon_Neo@BAS.org.sg to inform us
