Dear Coaches / Team Managers / Club / Academies

The Basketball Association of Singapore (BAS) will be conducting a Selection Trial for the 5v5 Women National Team training squad. This training squad will kick-start our 5v5 National Team program for SEA Games 2025 qualification.

Date: 21 November 2024

Time: 7 – 10pm

Location: OCBC Arena Hall 1

Attire: Bring BOTH white and black/dark top

Process of trial:

1. Athletes to be nominated*
2. Nominated athletes to fill in Registration Formhttps://forms.gle/e3ehaR13d8Lsojuh9 (Please refer to attached pdf for “URL Link”)
3. Athletes to attend National Team trial
4. The National Team Trial will be an on-going process (until desired training squad size and composition is achieved)
5. Athletes will be informed should they be deemed unable to meet expectations of BAS Coaching Staff

*We welcome Team Managers/Coaches to nominate exceptional female players who meet the following criteria to attend the trial:

1. Singapore Citizen
2. Born in or before year 2007
3. Played in BAS organized events / School representation (within the past 2 years)
4. Able to commit 8-10 hours of training per week
5. At least twice a week court training (Tuesday & Thursday)
6. Self-training (S&C, Shooting drills, etc)
