Selection Trial for the 5v5 Women National Team
Dear Coaches / Team Managers / Club / Academies The Basketball Association of Singapore (BAS) will be conducting a Selection Trial for the 5v5 Women National Team training squad. This training squad will kick-start our 5v5 National Team program for SEA Games 2025 qualification. BAS Youth Cup 2024 – Revised Rules & Regulations (R&R), as at 10 May 2024
Basketball Association of Singapore is happy to announce BAS Youth Cup 2024 is BACK! After listening to the feedback from the members, the Board of BAS has reviewed the R&R and made the following changes: 1. Removed the U12 category. (Nevertheless, if there are enough teams interested to play, you may write in the BAS) 2. Revised the Registration fees to $600 (Member) & $700 (Non-member). 3. Removed the conditions for teams to wear Rigorer jerseys. 4. Players can only take part in maximum TWO (2) different categories within the same club/academy. 5. The Team draw will be conducted on 20 May 2024, 8PM. 6. Closing date of Registration postponed to 13 May 2024, 1700hrs. 7. Players participating in higher age group must provide parent consent letter to play at the particular age group. 8. Invoice will be issued upon registration closure. Full payment of the registration fee must be made by 19 May 2024. 9. Teams can register up to a maximum of 2 players who do not hold Singapore citizenship (pink NRIC). These players must either be a Permanent Resident, or they must hold a valid Student Pass/Student Concessional Card issued by the MOE, Polys, ITEs or International School in Singapore, or Dependent’s pass / Long-Term visit pass / Immigration Exemption Order. Competition Period would be from May to June 2024 Registration closes on 13 May 2024, 5:00pm. Team Manager Meeting and Team Draw on 20 May 2024, 8pm @ Singapore Basketball Centre. Rigorer Youth Cup 2023 – Final
The Rigorer Youth Cup 2023 Final will be held this coming weekend, 24th & 25th of June. There are 3 different categories, u14/u16/u18, which will be sold separately by session at $4 each. Of course, there is a $10 per whole-day session as well. Ticket will start selling at BAS Office from Friday onwards, 23rd June 2023. 24th June 2023 U14 Girls Placing Match – 9:00 AM U14 Girls Final Match – 10:45 AM U16 Girls Placing Match – 1:30 PM U16 Girls Final Match – 3:15 PM U18 Girls Placing Match – 6:00 PM U18 GIrls Final Match – 7:45 PM 25th June 2023 U14 Boys Placing Match – 9:00 AM U14 Boys Final Match – 10:45 AM U16 Boys Placing Match – 1:30 PM U16 Boys Final Match – 3:15 PM U18 Boys Placing Match – 6:00 PM U18 Boys Final Match – 7:45 PM FYI, the main entry to the seating gallery will be closed 5 minutes before the game start. All ticket holders are advised to be seated 10 minutes before the start of each game.
