The Basketball Association of Singapore (BAS) U23 5v5 National Team Trials is set for the following dates: U23 Men’s Trials 📅 Session 115 June 2026 (Monday)🕖 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM📍 BAS Court 2 📅 Session 219 June 2026 (Friday)🕖 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM📍 BAS Court 2 Male applicants will be informed via email whether they have been assigned to Session 1 or Session 2. Athletes are only required to attend their allocated session. U23 Women’s Trials 📅 26 June 2026 (Friday)🕖 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM📍 BAS Court 2 Female applicants are required to attend the Women’s Trial on 26 June 2026. ✅ Applicants who have already completed their registration are reminded to monitor their email regularly and adhere to all stated dates and timelines. ❗ Missed the earlier application deadline? Youth Cup Pop-up Stalls – Request for Proposals

Call for Proposals to operate Pop-Up Stalls at BAS ANTA – AiRENA Youth Cup 2026 The premier event for youth basketball is set to kick off in June 2026 and stretching into mid-July for the U18 finals. BAS is inviting vendors for snacks, drinks, products and services that serve youth athletes to liven up the atmosphere for the Youth Cup but setting up pop-up stalls in designated areas in and around the competition arena. Vendors can opt to set-up during the regular season games and/or during the days when the Grand Finals will be played for each age group (u14/u16/u18) where more space will be allocated for pop-up stalls, food carts and/or vending machines. Proposals welcome for the following options: – per day/per week/entire event duration space rentals – profit-sharing model Email: taskforce@bas.org.sg with your proposals or approach the BAS team for a discussion. ANTA AiRENA BAS Youth Cup 2026

It’s that time of the year again! The premier youth tournament with the longest history in Singapore, where the best U18 athletes gather to challenge themselves against strong opponents to claim the Youth Cup title. Download the official Youth Cup handbook here for the rules and regulations. ADDENDUM made on 6 May 1330 hr:Clause 5.5 –Exception: school coaches are allowed to coach for a club in the same category. Clause 5.6 –Exception: players registered by their schools are allowed to participate in a different category for a club. NBA Rising Stars Invitational 2026

NBA Rising Stars Invitational is set to return to this June. Held at OCBC Arena this time, the action will tip off on 22 June with the finals being held on 28 June. Once again, high schools from across the Asia-Pacific who have won qualifiers in their own country will get a chance to pit their skills against the top U18 school teams in the region. In 2025, A Division Champions Anglo-Chinese Junior College (Boys) and Hwa Chong Institution (Girls) repped the Little Red Dot on this big stage. This year, while we await the outcome of the ongoing National Schools Games to see who will emerge champion and punch their ticket to the NBA Rising Stars Invitational, three other U18 teams have stepped up to vie for the second spot in this tournament. As the host country, Singapore gets to send two teams from each gender to take part. The non-A Division teams vying for the second slot are: Boys Girls 1 ITE ITE 2 Nanyang Polytechnic Nanyang Polytechnic 3 UWC Dover UWC East UWC Dover have already had a taste of what is like to compete in such as arena, being the second boys team to represent Singapore in 2025’s edition of this tournament. Will the juniors who haven’t graduated be able to head back to the stage and take care of unfinished business from last year? Find out as these teams match up on 4, 8 and 11 May, 2026 at the Singapore Basketball Centre. Girls game starts at 7.30pm and boys games starts at 9pm. Admission is free. Nominations for Athletes Commission

Nominations open for the BAS Athletes Commission WHAT IS THE ATHLETES COMMISSION? The formation of the Athletes Commission (AC) is required by the BAS Constitution and serves to promote open communication with the our current athletes to ensure that their interests and concerns are considered at the Board level. Based on the Constitution, the AC shall consist of no more than Five (5) elected members, who are either past or present national basketball athletes. There shall be a Chairman, who must be a former national basketball athlete. The Chairman and members of the AC shall be elected by national athletes who have represented Singapore in international competitions within the past twenty-four (24) months. This election process seeks to elect a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 members. NOMINATION AND VOTING PROCESS Nominations (including self-nominations) shall open from the 5th of April and shall close at 2359hrs, 20th April, 2026. Please use this link to nominate candidates who fulfil the criteria above. It is best to nominate candidates who are willing to take on the role to promote athlete welfare, and improve communication between athletes and governing officials. This form is for nominations only. Nominations are open to the general basketball community. A separate form will be sent to the eligible voters for voting. Upon closing of nominations, candidates will be reviewed and those who were not self-nominated will be informed of their nomination. Candidates who confirm that they are willing to accept the nomination will be placed in a poll to be sent out to those eligible to vote. The voting period shall be 72 hours from the time that the link to the online poll is made available to eligible voters.
Referee & Table Official Course (April 2026)

BAS Referee & Table Official Course (Formerly known as BAS Basketball Referee Course Level 2) is back! Course dates: 27 April – 13 May 2026. This course is designed for individuals who wish to take up officiating and table duties for our local basketball games. They will be trained in the concepts and general provisions of the basketball game, refereeing knowledge, as well as table official roles that required for our local games. 💃🏼New Rates for Singaporean Females! To promote the participation of women in the local officiating scene, we are introducing exclusive rates for female attendees. (⏱️Limited time only!) U16/U23 National Team Trials

Registration for U16 (2027) /U23 National Team trials BAS is inviting athletes who are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents who intend to complete National Service to register their interest to trial for the following National Team programmes: U16 National Team (Born 2011, 2012 or 2013) U23 National Team (Born 2003 or after) Fill in this form before 2359hrs of 13th April, 2026. A number of trials sessions will be scheduled based on the number of registered participants. Registrants will be notified of these trial dates when set.
