For the first time in Singapore, the East Asia Super League are bringing their Future Champions Coaches Course here! 🔥🔥 EASL Future Champions x BAS Coaches Course is here! This two‑day course is designed for coaches who want to level up. You’ll learn from internationally experienced coaches through a mix of classroom theory and on‑court practical sessions. Course content includes: Modern offensive & defensive systems Skill development progressions Game concepts & decision‑making Practice planning & coaching philosophy At the end of the course, participants will take a theoretical test and an on‑court practical test. Those who pass will receive a certificate of completion. Additionally, 4 outstanding coaches will be selected to coach at the following Elite Training Camp on September 9–10. 📅 Monday, Sept 7: 9am – 5pm | Tuesday, Sept 8: 9am – 4pm 📍 Singapore Basketball Centre, 601 Aljunied Avenue 1, Singapore 389862 Total cost (for both days):$380 for non-members$370 for coaches from Associate member clubs$350 for coaches from BAS full member clubs This course entitles the participant to 10 CCE hours on CoachSG. Call for Applications: National Team Coaches The Basketball Association invites applications for the following positions under our National Selection & Development (S&D) Framework: U16 National Team Coach (Boys & Girls) U23 National Team Coach (Men & Women) Senior National Team Coach (Men & Women) These roles are integral to our structured national pathway, ensuring alignment across age groups and supporting the principle of Right Player, Right Role, Right System. Key Responsibilities Athlete Development Deliver structured, periodised training programmes aligned to LTAD principles Monitor performance benchmarks and athlete progression Provide training plans Selection & Talent Identification Assist and apply clear, merit-based selection criteria Contribute to scouting and regional talent identification efforts Support transition of athletes between pathway stages System & Coach Development Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and coaching clinics Mentor emerging coaches within the pathway Contribute to national coaching curriculum development Competition & Representation Lead teams in regional and international competitions Model professionalism and national values Requirements Relevant coaching certification (Level 1/2/3 or equivalent preferred) Experience in youth or high-performance environments Strong understanding of long-term athlete development Ability to work within a structured national framework Commitment to collaborative leadership and system growth Application Submission Interested applicants should submit: Coaching CV Coaching philosophy (aligned to development pathway) Proposed 1-year outline plan for the respective age group We seek coaches who are committed to building sustainable success — developing athletes, strengthening the system, and elevating the national standard of basketball.
