20 August 2025 To all BAS Affiliates NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) 2025 Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting 2025 of the members of the Basketball Association of Singapore (BAS) will be held on Saturday, 20th September 2025, at 1.30 pm at the BAS Conference Room, 601 Aljunied Avenue 1, Singapore Basketball Centre, Singapore 389862. (Buffet Lunch will commence at 12 pm) AGENDA President’s Address To confirm and adopt the minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 28 September 2024 To approve the Annual Report and the previous financial year’s Audited Financial Statements. To approve any resolutions tabled by Full Members under BAS Constitution Article 14.4 or by the Board. (“Full Members who wish to table a resolution for the General Meeting’s approval must notify the Secretary-General in writing at least fourteen (14) days before the date of the AGM.”) To appoint an Auditor for the ensuing year, 01 April 2025 to 31 March 2026 To approve or remove a Full Member (Special Resolution is required) To approve the list of nominations received and to hold the election for Board Members. The Basketball Association of Singapore (BAS) has released a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the planning and management of its 3×3 basketball competitions for the upcoming calendar year. Interested parties are invited to submit detailed proposals outlining their approach, experience, and cost estimates for organizing and delivering the events.

Notice of Renovation
Dear all, Please be informed that the Singapore Basketball Centre (SBC) will be undergoing minor renovation from 4 November to 31 December 2024. The renovation works will address some existing issues, including repairing the leaking roof, addressing slippery courts, and renovating the toilets. We aim to create a better environment for everyone to enjoy basketball sessions at the SBC in the future. We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this period. Request for Proposal – Renovation of Singapore Basketball Centre
Request for Proposal (RFP) Project Title: Renovation of Singapore Basketball Centre 8 Oct 2024 Introduction The Basketball Association of Singapore invites qualified contractors to submit your proposal for the renovation/retrofitting works for the Singapore Basketball Centre, addressed at 601 Aljunied Crescent #01-04, Singapore 389862. Project Overview The BAS is seeking proposals for the renovation of the Singapore Basketball Centre to improve the facilities for the sport of Basketball. The premises include two indoor basketball courts, two toilets, one office space, a gym and a conference room. The facilities are expected to close for renovation on 3 Nov 2024, and the target is to return to operation before Jan 2025. Scope of Work The scope of work includes but is not limited to items listed in Annex A of the attachment. Proposal Requirements The vendor is expected to complete the tasks as listed in Annex A and provide the information of the company, but not limited to the details, as required in the following: – Company profile and relevant experience – Project approach and methodology – Timeline for deliverables – Detailed budget and breakdown of pricing structure – References from past clients Evaluation Criteria The proposals will be evaluated by the BAS building committee. The committee will consider awarding the job based on the experience, cost, and approach. The committee may also call the vendor in for a presentation to better understand the ideas. Submission Guidelines – Submission format: o Drop the proposal in a sealed envelope into the tender box at the BAS office before the closing date. o The tenderer’s name, address, and contact person should appear on the label or the envelope. o Softcopies of the proposal (stored in a USB memory drive) shall be included in the submission sealed envelope. Tenderer must issue a crossed cheque of SGD$1,000 made payable to “Basketball Association of Singapore”. (Buffet Lunch will commence at 12 pm) AGENDA President’s Address To confirm and adopt the minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 14 September 2023 To approve and confirm the Annual Report for the Fiscal year ended 31 March 2024 To approve and confirm the Annual Statement of Accounts for Fiscal year ended 31 March 2024 To appoint an Auditor for the ensuing year – 01 April 2024 to 31 March 2025 To approve or remove Full Members To transact Any Other Business brought forward following theBAS Constitution Article 14.4 – “Full Members who wish to table a resolution for the General Meeting’s approval must notify the Secretary-General in writing at least fourteen (14) days before the date of the AGM.” ATTENDANCE FOR THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING Each Full Member is entitled to have one (1) authorized delegate to attend a General Meeting and to speak and vote on its behalf at such meetings.
