BAS congratulates both Honorary Secretary Dr Koh Koon Teck (Right) and Technical Committee Chairman Mr Ong Peng Kiat (Left) on the appointment to the FIBA Asia Permanent Committees for the Term of Office 2019-2023!

Together with Dr Koh’s recent appointment to the FIBA Technical Commission, Dr Koh has been appointed as a member to the Development Committee (South East), while Mr Ong is appointed to the Youth Committee (South East), as part of the FIBA Asia Permanent Committees 2019-2023 Term.

The FIBA Asia Permanent Committee consists of 11 Sub- Committees with representatives from different sub-zones (Asia Region) from different countries in Asia aiming to develop basketball in Asia.

With both Dr Koh’s and Mr Ong’s expertise & experiences, BAS is confident that they will contribute vastly to the development of basketball in Asia!
