BAS Level 2 Basketball Referee Course

The BAS Basketball Level 2 Referee Course is designed for individuals who wish to take up officiating and table duties for our local basketball games. They will be trained in the concepts and general provisions of the basketball game, refereeing knowledge, as well as table official roles that required for our local games.

Participants who completed & passed the course will be eligible to participate in most of our local games endorsed by BAS as:

1) On-Court Official (Crew Chief/Umpire)

2) Table Official (Scorer/Timer/Shot Clock Operator)

Course Details:

Dates & Time: 29th November to 22nd December 2023  (All dates are required to attend)

Online Lessons:

- Weekdays (7pm-10pm): 29th November & 1st December 2023

Practical Sessions:

- Weekends (9am-1pm & 2pm-6pm): 2nd & 3rd December 2022 

- Weekdays (7pm-10pm): 18th to 22nd December 2023

Venue: Singapore Basketball Centre (SBC)

Course Pre-requisites:

1.      Knowledge of the game of Basketball highly preferable

2.      Basic Understanding of the English Language

3.      Legible handwriting in English

4.      Minimum 16 years old.

Course Fee:

- Singaporean: $250

- Permanent Residence (PR): $400

- Foreigner: $500

- Students: $150

*Inclusive of:

1) 1 x Whistle

2) 1 x BAS Referee Tee

3) Course Materials

Number of Participants: 20-30 pax

(Registration will be on a first-come-first basis)
