SAFSA goes into its
4-game unbeaten streak with another win against Adroit in a closely fought
match. SAFSA maintained an advantage in the 1st two periods but
Adroit managed to claw back in the last two periods, but ultimately futile in 3rd
place following 2 wins and a loss in the current campaign. Top scorer for the game goes to Wong Wei Long
(Adroit) with 21 points while runner up goes to Delvin Goh of SAFSA with 18
points.
In the next game at
5.30pm, SBPHK Hornets defeated Tagawa to go second in the table and is the team
beside SAFSA to go unbeaten following the conclusion of Day 6 of ICBC NBL 2018.
This is Tagawa’s second loss and cost them in the rankings, currently in 5th
placing. Desmond Oh Wei Jie of SBPHK Hornets is the top scorer in the game with
19 points while Tagawa’s Chan Tzu Xiong had 17 points.
In the last game at 7pm,
SG Basketball emerged victorious against Xin Hua SC to trail behind leaders
SAFSA by 3 points. Xin Hua remained winless after three games played and there
will be a lot of work to be done before their next outing against Siglap on 15
August. SG Basketball’s Ng Shi Yang is the game’s top scorer with 21 points while
next joint-runner up is SG Basketball’s Lim Shengyu and Yap Ching Poh with both
18 points.

Xuan able to derail SAFSA’s ongoing momentum (7pm)? Will Siglap able to clinch
their first win of the campaign against Tong Whye (4pm) and lastly, who will emerged
victorious between SG basketball and Tagawa (5.30pm).
