Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting 2026 of the members of the Basketball Association of Singapore (BAS) will be held on Sunday, 27 September 2026, at 2.00pm at the BAS Conference Room, 601 Aljunied Avenue 1, Singapore Basketball Centre, Singapore 389862.
Registration will commence at 12:30pm.
Refreshments / lunch details will commence at 1:00pm.
AGENDA:
- President’s Address
- To confirm and adopt the minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 20 September 2025.
- To approve the Annual Report and the previous financial year’s Audited Financial Statements.
- To approve any resolutions tabled by Full Members under BAS Constitution Article 14.4 or by the Board. “Full Members who wish to table a resolution for the General Meeting’s approval must notify the Secretary General in writing at least fourteen (14) days before the date of the AGM.”
- To appoint an Auditor for the ensuing term.
- To approve or remove a Full Member, if applicable. Special Resolution is required.
- To approve the list of nominations received and to hold the election for Board Members, where applicable.

BAS and Singapore Sports School are pleased to announced that the second batch of NYDP trainees will be onboarded on 7th September 2026. A BAS-NYDP Joint Parent Briefing will be conducted at 7pm at the Sport Singapore Auditorium (6 Stadium Walk, Singapore 397698).
During this briefing, BAS & NYDP staff will outline the impetus and structure for both the BAS U16 & the NYDP U19 programme. The expectations, training arrangements/frequency, attire, and other key administrative information will be shared and there will also be an opportunity for parents and student-athletes to ask questions during a Q&A session.

For the first time in Singapore, the East Asia Super League are bringing their Future Champions Coaches Course here! 🔥🔥
EASL Future Champions x BAS Coaches Course is here! This two‑day course is designed for coaches who want to level up. You’ll learn from internationally experienced coaches through a mix of classroom theory and on‑court practical sessions.
Course content includes:
- Modern offensive & defensive systems
- Skill development progressions
- Game concepts & decision‑making
- Practice planning & coaching philosophy
At the end of the course, participants will take a theoretical test and an on‑court practical test.
Those who pass will receive a certificate of completion. Additionally, 4 outstanding coaches will be selected to coach at the following Elite Training Camp on September 9–10.
📅 Monday, Sept 7: 9am – 5pm | Tuesday, Sept 8: 9am – 4pm

Total cost (for both days):
$380 for non-members
$370 for coaches from Associate member clubs

Suffering withdrawal symptoms now that NSG is over for the year? Wondering how to level up for next year? This September holidays, BAS is collaborating with the East Asia Super League to bring their Future Champions programme to Singapore!
Boys and girls aged 13–16: this is your chance to train under international professional coaches and experience EASL’s premier youth development programme.
What you’ll gain:
- Elevated skills and basketball IQ
- Game-ready confidence
- Exposure to elite coaching methods
Players will enhance their mastery of skills through ball-handling drills, scoring moves, defensive techniques, and game-based learning. They’ll also improve their basketball IQ and confidence through competitive drills and scrimmages.
