With effect from 2011, coaches that are coaching teams in NBL Division 1, NBL Divsion 2 & WNBL are required to fulfill the following criteria before their respective teams are allowed to participate in the various respective competitions:
- Holder of NCAP Level 1 (Theory) Certificate
- Holder of NCAP Level 1 (Technical) Certificate
- Holder of NCAP Level 2 (Technical) Certificate
- Holder of First-Aid Certificate
- Be a NROC-registered coach with SSC

With effect from 2012, coaches that are coaching teams in NBL Division 1, NBL Division 2 & WNBL are required to fulfill the following additional criteria before their respective teams are allowed to participate in the various respective competitions:
- Holder of NCAP Level 2 (Theory) Certificate

Dear Team Managers,

Thank you for supporting the 32nd Milo Youth Boys and Girls Basketball Championship U15 and U18 (2013).

Please be gently reminded to attend the competition draw which will be conducted on Friday 17 May 2013 at 7.30pm at the BAS Conference Room, Singapore Basketball Centre.

Pertaining to the enquiries received from teams, please see below for clarifications :

1.

a) All persons in the competition may only be registered with one Club.

b) All persons may only be registered to perform one role in any given team in that Club.

c) All persons may be registered to perform a role in the same Club for one of the other teams in that Club.



2.

a) To register for the competition, a minimum of ten players and one official must be registered.

b) Throughout the competition, additional players up to a maximum team total of 15 and additional officials up to a team total of 4, may be registered.



3.

a) Coaches who do not hold NCAP Level One may still coach in this competition provided they have signed up and paid up to do the Level One Course 6-12 October 2013.

32nd MILO YOUTH BOYS & GIRLS Basketball Championship U18 & U15 (2013) is now open for registration until 10 May. Click here for all relevant documents and forms.
Referee Fees will be revised effective 1 Jan 2013, as detailed in the linked table.
BAS Technical Committee has published the first issue of their newsletter, Timeout, and is available for download here.
The Combined School Team list for U16 Boys and girls have been announced. Players included in the lists will not be allowed to represent their own clubs, and will be registered for the MILO Youth Cup U16 tournament.
